Chronic inflammation of the bladder causing urinary urgency, frequency, and pain. Distinguished from interstitial cystitis by the presence of infection. Common in veterans from field hygiene conditions.

Rating Levels

Your chronic cystitis requires the use of an appliance or wearing absorbent materials that must be changed more than 4 times per day.

Appliance or absorbent materials changed more than 4 times per day
Severe voiding dysfunction from chronic infection
Significant impact on employment and daily functioning
Extensive urological treatment records
Medical documentation of frequency and severity

Common Pitfalls
