You have unfavorable ankylosis of the entire spine resulting from extensive fusion surgery from cervical through lumbar spine.

Common Pitfalls

⚠Not claiming adjacent segment disease — after fusion surgery, the vertebrae above and below the fused segment often degenerate faster. If you develop new problems at adjacent levels, document and claim them.
⚠Not reporting the full functional impact — fusion eliminates motion in the fused segment, but the examiner may only measure your overall remaining motion. Explain how the rigid segment affects your ability to bend, twist, lift, and perform daily tasks.
