Inflammation of the choroid layer of the eye, which lies between the retina and the sclera. When active, choroiditis can cause blurred vision, floaters, and light sensitivity. The VA rates active choroiditis based on the frequency of episodes and resulting visual impairment.
The VA rates this condition based on how often symptoms occur and how severe each episode is. The examiner will ask about the frequency, duration, and intensity of your episodes, as well as how they affect your ability to work.
