Inflammation of the iris and ciliary body of the eye (also known as anterior uveitis). When active, iridocyclitis causes eye pain, redness, light sensitivity, and blurred vision. The VA rates this condition based on the frequency of active episodes and any resulting visual impairment.
The VA rates this condition based on how often symptoms occur and how severe each episode is. The examiner will ask about the frequency, duration, and intensity of your episodes, as well as how they affect your ability to work.
