Residual symptoms from ovarian cysts, which are fluid-filled sacs that develop on or in an ovary. While many ovarian cysts resolve on their own, some cause recurring pain, menstrual irregularity, ovarian torsion, or require surgical removal of part or all of the ovary. The VA rates ovarian cyst residuals based on pain frequency, menstrual disruption, and the impact on reproductive and daily function.
