Inflammation of the middle layer of the eye (uvea) that causes eye pain, redness, and blurred vision. The VA rates uveitis based on whether the inflammation is active, what treatment is needed, and any vision impairment it causes.
The VA rates this condition based on how often symptoms occur and how severe each episode is. The examiner will ask about the frequency, duration, and intensity of your episodes, as well as how they affect your ability to work.
